Even the Bullet can't help this man.
In a recent survey of over 122 women aged 18-45, 76% said that hair sprouting out of a man’s nose or ears was disgusting and a certain passion killer. ‘A hairy back ugh!!’ was the most common response, especially from younger women. Hair sprouting from the nose or ears was hardly mentioned, however once prompted, the vehemence of reaction was surprising. A young Brazilian student said, ‘A guy will think you’re staring at his lips, when really, you can’t take your eyes off his nose spiders.’ A middle aged woman put it this way, ‘If a man can’t even see what’s under his nose, what does that say about his attitude to his personal hygiene?’ The message is clear, de-fuzz the nose and ears if you want to attract the ladies. However, it’s best to avoid powered trimmers, because nasal hair is there for a reason, namely to filter the air we breathe and help prevent foreign objects from being inhaled. A battery operated nose hair trimmer is brutal, it removes everything and literally pulverises the hair, which can be inhaled, risking irritating the lining of the lungs. Plucking is very painful and may leave an open wound leaving you open to infection. As for waxing, search on YouTube for wince making videos of men waxing their noses. Which is why every man over the age of 21 should own a Bullet, rated by consumers as the best nose and ear hair trimmer on the market today. The device is surprisingly tiny at just over 64mm in length, and is engineered in surgical grade stainless steel. The precision blades are designed so that they never come in contact with the delicate skin in your nose or ears. Quite apart from the aesthetics, a major benefit of the Bullet over conventional trimmers is the Bullet doesn’t use batteries and carries a lifetime guarantee. Sadly we can’t help you if you have a hairy back, but we can give some advice. Whatever you do, if you opt to have your back waxed either- have a stiff drink or take painkillers before you go! Oh and avoid wearing a white shirt as it shows the blood.
Can the bullet be used on back hair?
Hi Edmundo.
Assuming you have an extremely patient friend, who doesn’t mind the thought of trimming your back hair – then the Bullet can do the job.
But in all honesty the Bullet is a precision device designed to safely and gently remove nose and ear hair. If you have a very hairy back, using the Bullet would be like using scissors to mow the lawn. Dare we say it but waxing is the best solution. But be advised from someone who still bears the mental scars, waxing is not for the fainthearted. My advice is to take a couple of strong painkillers before your treatment. I’m told after many waxings, the hair grows back finer and is easier to remove. I wouldn’t know about that because I only endured one back wax and swore (literally) never again! Good luck.
